Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator

About the Role
Cambridge Scientific Products is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations across inventory, logistics, and warehouse management. This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and shipping laboratory equipment while maintaining an efficient and well-structured warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
- Receive, unpack, decontaminate, and log incoming equipment
- Organize, stage, and store inventory accurately
- Clean and prepare equipment for inventory and delivery
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and workflow efficiency
Logistics & Deliveries
- Pack, crate, and prepare outbound shipments
- Verify condition, documentation, and labeling (including shipment indicators)
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups, including customer communication
- Operate company vehicles (box truck, cargo van) for local transport
- Ensure safe and secure transport of equipment
Warehouse Organization & Supplies
- Maintain organization of supplies (cleaning, shipping, tools)
- Monitor inventory levels and notify when replenishment is needed
- Track supply usage and support cost visibility (Excel, Airtable)
Coordination & Operations
- Work cross-functionally with inventory, service, and operations teams
- Support scheduling and execution of deliveries and pickups
- Identify inefficiencies and help improve systems and workflows
Safety & Equipment Oversight
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE
- Ensure equipment is clean and presentable
- Report vehicle or equipment maintenance needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license; ability to operate box truck and cargo van
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required); Airtable or similar tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and task prioritization
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with strong ownership mindset
Preferred
- Warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience
- Familiarity with laboratory or technical equipment
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$30/hour (depending on experience)
- Full-time, in-person (Watertown, MA)
