Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our inventory system to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient order fulfillment, and smooth operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular audits and reconciliations.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
- Arrange and execute shipping logistics for sales, servicing, and operations
· Manage and grow equipment service business
· Communicate with service customers, staff, and service technicians to arrange equipment repairs, servicing, PM, and certifications
- Maintain and update CRM
- Maintain inventory descriptions, specifications, pictures, and serial numbers in the CSPs inventory management system.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Generate inventory reports and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and maintain software integrations
Additional Responsibilities:
· Assist with supply chain management
· Customer interaction including email, phone, and in-person meetings
· Assist other departments with daily tasks and requirements
- Assist in cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field.
· Familiarity with inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP systems).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· Fast and accurate typing.
· Valid Driver’s License and ability to be customer facing for deliveries
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
· Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and pressured environment and follow verbal and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Obtained, or in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s degree in a life-science or related field
- Experience in the scientific or laboratory equipment industry.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
