What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at Cambridge-Isanti School District 911?
Qualifications/Experience:
This position is responsible for the safety of all participants and staff in the pool.
This position requires American Red Cross Certification.
Successful background check required if over 18.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Must hold current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification. Must be at least 15 years old.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Maintain a safe environment for all participants and staff. Know and enforce all program policies and rules. Follow established emergency procedures. Recognize and respond quickly and effectively in an emergency situation. Maintain current required certifications. Inspect pool area for cleanliness, safety hazards, and unsafe conditions.
