Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree and experience working with students or working in a career advisory role preferred.
- Experience working with high school students/staff preferred.
- Successful background check required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
- General knowledge of the principles and practices of career education and general knowledge of business practices applicable to educational programs and students
- Ability to be detail oriented with high levels of accuracy and maintain a high level of student confidentiality
- Ability to plan and supervise large and small scale events
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, officials, business/industry personnel and the general public

Specific Tasks:
- Assist students with college, career, and job shadow information
- Assist students with job applications, resumes, and interviewing skills
- Organizes and coordinates various business and career related events
- Coordinates & facilitates business/industry speakers and tours
- Coordinates & facilitates post-secondary tours
- Coordinates & facilitates college fair and career connections fair
- Assists with other speakers, events, and testing administrations (PSAT, ACT, & ASVAB tests)
- Organizes and coordinates various large and small events, career speakers, and military rep visits
- Maintains databases, student records, and updates marketing materials
- Advertises events and communicates with students and families
- Gives classroom presentations and promotes career and college readiness
Hours Per Day:
7.5 hours per day
183 days per year
Starting $24.84 /hour with benefits.
