Job Summary
The Corporate Trainer delivers engaging training programs and learning experiences that support associate development, performance improvement, and business objectives. This role facilitates instructor-led and virtual training, partners with business teams to support learning needs, and helps reinforce consistent processes, knowledge, and service standards across the organization. The Corporate Trainer applies adult learning principles to support learner engagement and knowledge retention while contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the training function. They will partner closely with Instructional Designers and business stakeholders.
Depending on experience and business needs, this role may be filled at a senior level with expanded scope and responsibility, including mentoring and coaching other trainers, supporting learning strategy initiatives, and serving as a subject matter expert within the training team.

Work Environments: This role offers a hybrid schedule, requiring three days weekly in the office. Applicants should be located near one of our hubs (Fairfield, IA or Phoenix, AZ) and must be willing to work this schedule.

- Facilitate advanced, high-impact, or enterprise-wide training programs
- Design and deliver learning pathways and Train-the-Trainer sessions
- Apply adult learning theory to manage cognitive load and retention
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using assessment and evaluation data
- Coach trainers and managers on facilitation effectiveness and learning transfer
- Diagnose performance gaps and recommend learning or performance support solutions
- Leverage technology and AI tools to enhance learning design and delivery
- Partner with business stakeholders to support change initiatives
The ideal candidate may have:
- Proven ability to facilitate engaging learning experiences that drive measurable improvements in associate behavior, performance, and business outcomes
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, facilitation techniques, and learning evaluation methods, with the ability to use feedback and performance data to continuously improve training effectiveness
- Experience partnering with leaders and business teams to align training initiatives with organizational priorities, operational goals, and change management efforts
- Skilled in building relationships, influencing without direct authority, and providing coaching or guidance to peers, leaders, and learners
- 5 years of experience delivering corporate training or learning solutions; bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with learning technologies, virtual facilitation tools, and AI-enabled learning solutions
- ATD CPTD certification or equivalent strongly preferred

Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
