This position is responsible for picking and packaging orders containing various items while maintaining safety standards, quality and order accuracy. This will require an individual who is highly detail oriented as well as has the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurate picking, packing, staging and processing of orders for fulfillment
- Assemble boxes, wrap pallets and necessary items for shipment of orders
- Maintain documentation of pick sheets, scrap material and inventory levels
- Check material against Standard Operating Procedures and design standards for optimal quality
- Communicate job progress, problems, successes and concerns with associates and supervisors
- Participate in cycle counts; drive a forklift or operate a pallet jack as needed
- React quickly to fulfill expedited needs
- Restock, clean and organize warehouse
- Perform other duties as assigned by lead
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and skilled accuracy
- Skilled in effectively executing safety procedures and sustainability
- Effective problem solving skills and capability to multitask
- Strong integrity and work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively
