We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at our resort. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. The Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor, providing a positive first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records
- Assist with night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy and reporting compliance
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs promptly
- Maintain phone etiquette standards when handling inquiries via phone or email
- Support guest relations initiatives to foster loyalty and repeat business
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed for resort operations
- Previous experience in guest services or resort environments is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
