Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and answering questions about dishes and ingredients
- Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff for preparation
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout your shift
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations or replenishing supplies
- Support banquet or catering events by providing attentive service in larger group settings when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining or high-volume food service environments preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food handling safety, and proper sanitation practices
- Experience with food preparation, catering, or banquet service is a plus
- Familiarity with dietary accommodations and food allergy protocols to ensure guest safety
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and teamwork
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage service is advantageous
- A background in hospitality or the food industry that emphasizes exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
