Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of living or working areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing with care and attention to detail.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
- Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, waxing floors, and applying protective finishes to preserve flooring quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventorying supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of janitorial practices.
- Hands-on experience with laundry processes and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently.
- Previous hotel housekeeping or custodial experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations and high-volume environments.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus for those interested in supervisory roles.
