Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate cleaning techniques to preserve flooring quality
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Handle janitorial tasks including waste disposal, window cleaning, and detailed surface polishing to uphold cleanliness standards
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as industrial cleaning or deep sanitation tasks as needed to uphold hygiene excellence
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus
- Hands-on experience with various cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- Knowledge of janitorial supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures in a hospitality setting
- Experience managing housekeeping tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment is advantageous
