Position Summary
The Loan Processor is responsible for managing all cash and finance sales transactions, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives and representing the company’s core values. This includes with both our customers and lenders and ensuring a smooth and timely closing process.
Duties and Responsibilities
What you will do:
The qualified individual will work as an integral part of the Sales team to perform the following essential job functions:
• Walk the finance & cash sale process from submission to closing which includes:
• Ensuring that all credit applications meet quality standards for completeness and accuracy.
• Performing a full range of loan processing steps to verify complete loan files, submit applications to lender, work to clear conditions, and order loan documents.
• Generation of document packages for cash sales
• Assist in guiding and mentoring the team in the field through the processes
• Work closely with teammates to share knowledge and experience to improve results
• Evaluate processes, incentives, and marketing to maximize results.
• Partner with subject matter experts to develop and/or update process reviews, system updates, job aids and forms, etc.
• Electronically organize files and ensure timely and accurate execution of a wide range of loan processing functions.
• Audit sales packages for accuracy and completeness before sending them to the appropriate lender.
• Complete monthly reporting for state specific reports.
• Pull NADA values and order appraisals as necessary.
• Position may require working scheduled and/or flexible hours on evenings and weekends, as well as other non-business hours as customer traffic dictates.
• Position may require temporary or permanent reassignment of work location as directed by Regional Supervisor or Senior Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What you should have:
• Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licenses preferred, but not required: Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)
• Computer skills required: Accounting Software; Contract Management Systems; Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management Software; Property Management Software; LMS
• A growth mindset; always testing and learning.
• Willingness and ability to present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner always throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
