Position Summary:
Cambiar Investors is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial professional to join our Sales & Client Service team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a territory, drive new asset growth, expand client relationships, and deliver high-touch service to existing clients. The position combines proactive business development with relationship management, providing meaningful autonomy and accountability.
Success in this role will come from building your own business within Cambiar’s platform, developing relationships across RIAs, bank trusts, and wirehouses, and executing a disciplined plan to expand assets under management.
While the ideal candidate will have 3 years of sales experience within the Financial Services industry and strong communication skills, recent college graduates with strong work habits, exemplary communication skills (verbal and written), and a career interest in investments will also be considered.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of Cambiar’s investment philosophy, product offerings, and competitive positioning
- Build and execute a territory business plan to drive new asset growth and deepen existing client relationships
- Proactively prospect and engage advisors through outbound calls, meetings, and targeted outreach
- Manage and prioritize client relationships within your territory to ensure consistent and effective coverage
- Coordinate conference calls, client visits, and external sales meetings
- Maintain CRM activity to track flows, pipeline development, and client engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining ownership of territory outcomes

- Identifies new distribution opportunities and acts decisively
- Balances proactive sales efforts with exceptional client service
Knowledge and Skills:
- Series 6 (or 7) and 63 required – or must be prepared to attain within first 90-120 days of employment
- An understanding of financial markets, terminology, and current events
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial approach
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build trust and credibility quickly with clients
- Strong presentation skills for both virtual and in-person meetings
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Proficiency in Salesforce
Location:
This in-person role will be based in Cambiar’s Denver, CO location.
Compensation/Benefits:
Base Pay Range: $85,000-$100,000/yr. This position is also currently eligible for an annual discretionary bonus generally based on company, department, team, and individual performance.
