Compensation & Bonus
- Hourly Pay: $28.90 – $41.00 (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 – $12,000
Shift Details
- Shift: Varied (Days, Evenings, Nights available)
- Schedule Options:
- 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Full-time (32–36 hours/week)
- Weekend & On-Call: May be required
Shift Differentials
- Evenings: $2.00 to $3.00/hr
- Nights: $4.00 to $5.00/hr
- Weekend Days: $1.25/hr
Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN) to provide care in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered mental health care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patients through recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct nursing care in collaboration with physicians and care teams
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in mental and physical health
- Educate patients and families on treatment and aftercare planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Supervise and support nursing assistants and staff
- Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
Requirements
- Active RN license (MI)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Knowledge of psychiatric/behavioral health nursing
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and crisis management skills
- Satisfactory previous clinical experience. [PREFERRED]
- New grads can be considered but would prefer pysch or ED experience.
