Job Title: Travel Research Registered Nurse (RN) – Non-Therapeutic
Location: Med City Dallas (Floating between Dallas H&S, Dallas, and Plano)
Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Contract Length: 6 Months
Start Date: February 17, 2025
Job Type: Travel Assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage multiple non-therapeutic research protocols from feasibility through study closeout
- Serve as liaison between investigators, sponsors, IRB, and site research teams
- Perform patient assessments and document findings at each protocol visit
- Accurately complete and maintain study documentation, source documents, and data entry per protocol
- Prepare and process study medication order forms with appropriate provider authorization
- Ensure medications are approved prior to initiation or regimen changes
- Calculate and document BSA, creatinine clearance, STS scores, and other protocol-required conversions
- Track, document, and report adverse events, serious adverse events, deviations, and violations
- Coordinate protocol-required labs, imaging, follow-ups, and clinic visits
- Re-consent patients as required and ensure proper documentation
- Generate, track, and manage study drug shipments, devices, and supplies
- Provide protocol education and guidance to physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior clinical research or protocol-driven nursing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of human subject research principles and regulatory compliance
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to float between Med City Dallas, Dallas H&S, and Plano locations
- Proficiency with clinical documentation systems and research databases preferred
