Job Title: LVN / LPN – Outpatient Clinic (OBGYN)
(Also known as: Licensed Vocational Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, OBGYN Clinic LVN, Outpatient LVN)
2. Position Overview
Seeking a Full-time Contract LVN / LPN – Outpatient Clinic (OBGYN).
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8s (between 6:45 AM – 6:00 PM).
Start Date: 12/29/2025.
Float may be required to nearby clinics as needed.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an outpatient OBGYN setting.
- Assist with exams, procedures, assessments, and documentation.
- Perform vital signs, medication administration, and vaccine administration.
- Support specimen collection, lab result follow-up, and patient education.
- Assist with triage calls, patient histories, and pharmacy/refill requests.
4. Requirements
- Active CA LVN License.
- 3 years LVN experience in outpatient or urgent care settings.
- Experience with OBGYN workflows and women’s health.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Epic charting experience required.
5. Education
- Graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN program.
6. Certifications
- BLS (AHA or ARC).
- IV Certification.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions).
7. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OBGYN procedures: PAPs, Colpo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon, NSTs.
- Prior L&D experience.
- Strong outpatient clinic background.
