Summary:
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in contract negotiation, aerospace and defense customer requirements, commercial terms and conditions, and regulatory compliance within a highly engineered manufacturing environment. The Manager of Contracts will play a critical role in supporting strategic growth initiatives, customer relationships, and operational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead negotiation, review, and administration of customer contracts, LTAs, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
- Analyze customer terms and conditions to identify contractual, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Support OEM, Tier 1, aerospace, defense, and government-related customer programs.
- Manage contract compliance, change orders, renewals, documentation, and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in contract management within aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements and customer terms & conditions.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, AS9100, aerospace quality systems, or defense contracting requirements preferred.
- Experience working with OEM and Tier 1 aerospace customers in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
