Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time role based in North Central New Jersey, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. This role is responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, including prospecting potential retail and distribution partners, managing a pipeline of leads, and supporting the expansion of Calypso’s market presence. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, analyzing sales and category data, preparing proposals and presentations, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive revenue growth. The specialist will maintain strong relationships with existing customers, respond to inquiries, and ensure a high level of service that reflects the Calypso brand. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, providing regular reporting to leadership, and representing Calypso at industry events and customer meetings as needed.
