Job Summary:

Functions as Obstetrical Technician, performing nursing assistant duties as well as Scrub role in the Operating Room.

Education:

Position requires a high school diploma or GED or 0- 6 months equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.

Registration/Certification/Licensure:

Maryland CNA license required.

Experience:

Position requires minimum of one year direct experience in OR scrub role as well as nursing assistant duties in Labor/Delivery, Post Partum and Newborn Nursery.

Other Requirements:
-
C.N.A. through Maryland State Board of Nursing. CPR required within 30 days of hire.

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
