Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a pristine environment
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across all areas of the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely to maintain floors, carpets, surfaces, and appliances in top condition
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or large items while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain clear communication with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each appointment
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked, organized, and used responsibly to promote a safe and efficient workspace
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly preferred; janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks including dusting, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience if applicable
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces using various methods and equipment to achieve optimal sanitation standards
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling duties required for deep cleaning or moving furniture
- Excellent client communication skills to understand preferences and ensure customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, detergents, and proper use of janitorial equipment to maintain a safe working environment
