On Air Radio Host

Are you ready to use your unique personality to make a real impact in Southern California radio? We're looking for On Air Hosts with a dynamic presence and a passion for ministry to join our team at KWAVE.

As an On Air Host, you'll be a voice of faith, hope, and love, reaching listeners with the life-changing message of the Gospel. Your role will involve hosting live air shifts, collaborating with our program director to create engaging content, and ensuring our broadcasts adhere to FCC regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Host live air shifts and voice-tracked segments, including music, news, and Bible teaching programs.
• Collaborate with our program director to develop relatable and engaging content.
• Operate the control board, edit audio, and maintain the program log.
• Make remote appearances and attend live group functions as assigned.
• Work with sales and promotions to maximize revenue opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

• At least five years of live on-air experience at a radio station or as a podcaster.
• Familiarity with the teaching and music format of our stations is a plus.
• Strong and active relationship with Jesus Christ with a commitment to living out our mission and vision.
• Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
