WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
- Partners with leaders throughout the organization to build strong teams and engage employees, bringing experience and expertise to the table, while closely collaborating with the Executive Team to drive solutions.
- Utilizes HR expertise to develop strong relationships with managers and employees at all levels of the organization through various methods of communication.
- Manages and administers employee benefit programs and total rewards, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, and employee perks, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates with the recruiting team and department managers to understand staffing needs and actively engage in workforce planning.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues. Addresses and resolves employee concerns, conflicts, and conducts investigations when necessary.
- Actively leads or facilitates employee engagement surveys. Implements and facilitates training programs to enhance employee skills and professional development. Identifies and addresses skill gaps through ongoing training initiatives.
- Utilizes tools and resources to assess and optimize team dynamics.
- Improves manager capabilities through coaching and implementation of management development programs and opportunities; identifies leadership development needs.
- Develops and executes a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires.
- Ensures a smooth transition for new employees into the company culture.
- Partners with Finance and supports the Payroll function, ensuring accurate data in the HRIS system for compliance purposes.
- Develops and improves upon, handbooks, policies, and procedures for the organization.
- Work with immigration counsel to oversee the visa process and status for Sibel team members.
- Own the Performance Review Process (twice a year).
- Work with people managers to implement employee career development plans.
- Co-own the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) with team managers, and supports team managers during terminations and off-boarding processes.
- Oversee and lead HR team members, offering strategic guidance and fostering a collaborative environment to drive departmental success.
- Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of HR leadership experience in a startup environment, with a focus on benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, and training.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Willing to work onsite approximately 4 days per week.
- Experience fielding visa and immigration inquiries.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead with authority and collaborate as part of a team.
- Ability to build credibility and trust.
- Ability to influence leaders and drive change.
- A champion of identifying and implementing continuous improvements of HR processes.
- Proficiency in working within an HRIS solution, Rippling strongly preferred.
