Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated full-time Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. We are interested in candidates who want to work for a company passionate about changing lives and building the essential workforce!
The Senior Software Engineer’s duties and responsibilities include:
- Developing, deploying, and maintaining software applications
- Architecting solutions for scalable, secure software applications
- Deployment of CI/CD pipelines for web applications and APIs
- Designing and developing microservices using various APIs
- Drive automation and workflow improvements through innovative LLM solutions and strategies that balance speed, function, and long-term robustness
- Design and maintain backend integrations with CRM platforms
- Participating in sprint ceremonies and code reviews
- Mentoring and working collaboratively with other members of the development team
- Assisting in planning and managing upcoming sprint work
- Performing other responsibilities and projects as directed by the Chief Technology Officer
The Skills You Need:
- 4 years of professional software development experience
- 3 years building production Django applications
- Experience deploying and managing applications across cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with relational databases (Postgres preferred)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Experience building generative AI solutions.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and Agile programming methodology
- Strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and works well with limited supervision
Even Better If You Have:
- 4-6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Python Proficiency
- CRM experience, such as Zoho or Salesforce
- Experience with vector databases or RAG systems
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines
