Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated full-time Billing and Coding Specialist Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company passionate about changing lives and building the essential workforce! Applicants must have open availability during weekdays and be a resident of California.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
- Assist in student learning outcomes
- Advance student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
- Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
- Assist in the development of the medical billing and coding specialist curriculum as needed.
- Grade class assignments and exams.
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or Equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in a directly related field.
- 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
- Must have at least one of the following Medical Billing and Coding license/certifications: CPB (preferred), CPC, CCS, or CMC.
- Proven track record of developing online training content.
- Must adhere to weekly class schedules.
- Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
- Adept at computers and technology.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Resident of California.
