The Enterprise Solutions Development Division (ESDD), Investment Support Section (ISS), is seeking an Information Technology Specialist III (IT Spec III) to serve as a lead Application Architect. In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of the INVO Data and Technology Modernization Initiative, working to implement new software platforms and applications that will replace legacy systems and support CalPERS’ strategic investment objectives.
As IT Spec III, you will provide expert architectural guidance and technical leadership, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable investment business applications. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing application architecture roadmaps, overseeing the full software development lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with industry and organizational standards. You will play a key role in mastering new technologies, transitioning operational support from consultants, and mentoring team members to build long-term expertise within ISS.
