Required Qualifications
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- DSP Annual 8-Hour Certification (current).
- CPR Certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Reliable transportation and personal vehicle.
- 2–3 years of experience in the developmental disabilities field.
- Clean background check.
- Medication Administration Certification (Med Cert 1 & 3 required).
- Provide direct support, supervision, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
- Administer medications in accordance with agency policy and state regulations (for certified staff).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and incident reports.
- Assist with appointment scheduling, community integration, and transportation needs.
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence.
- House Managers: Oversee daily home operations, staff scheduling, and compliance with agency and state standards.
- Uphold professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical work practices.
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
- Experience with documentation and electronic record-keeping systems.
- Leadership or supervisory experience (for House Manager applicants).
