What you'll do

• Monitor the pool area and enforce safety rules with a friendly, professional approach
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, administering first aid/CPR when needed
• Conduct regular checks of water quality, equipment, and pool conditions
• Keep the pool deck tidy — towels, loungers, umbrellas, and general upkeep
• Communicate with guests about pool hours, rules, and amenities
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly

What you'll bring

• Current lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent), including CPR/AED and First Aid
• Strong swimming ability and full attention during long stretches of observation
• Reliability — guests' safety depends on you showing up on time, every time
• Weekend and holiday availability during the season
• Must be 16 (per NY State requirements)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
