About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Developer / Founding Programmer to help take a new software product across the finish line and bring it to market.
This is an in-office position for someone who wants to be deeply involved in building, problem-solving, collaborating, and helping shape the future of a product from the inside. We want someone physically present with the team, engaged in the day-to-day, and able to move quickly alongside leadership as we finalize and launch this software.
This is not a role for someone who just wants tickets handed to them. We need someone who is creative, resourceful, highly capable, and able to think outside the box. Someone who can look at a problem, find opportunities others miss, and build solutions that may not already exist.
Right now, this person will be the primary developer and technical owner of the product. Over time, this role is expected to grow into a leadership position, where they will help build and lead the development team, guide the product daily, and shape its long-term technical direction.
This is an opportunity to step into something early, have real influence, and help build a product the right way before it hits the market.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the final development and launch readiness of a new software product
- Take ownership of architecture, functionality, scalability, and product stability
- Solve complex technical problems with creativity and practical execution
- Build features that may require original thinking, unconventional solutions, and rapid iteration
- Work directly with leadership in-office to turn ideas into execution
- Help prioritize what needs to be built now versus later
- Create systems and processes that support long-term product growth
- Prepare the product for launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement
- Eventually help hire, manage, and lead a development team as the product scales
- Serve as the day-to-day technical leader of the platform

Ideal Experience
- Experience leading or owning software projects from development through launch
- Strong full-stack development background
- Experience with application architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, and deployment
- Ability to work independently without constant direction
- Experience improving, fixing, and shipping products under real deadlines
- Experience building internal systems, SaaS products, automation tools, or custom platforms
- Leadership experience is a plus, but the ability to grow into leadership matters just as much

Compensation
Base salary: $70,000 to $130,000 , depending on experience and ability
Performance upside: Profit share / revenue share opportunity
Compensation is flexible for the right person who can truly own and elevate the product
