Callahan Construction is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in Dubuque, Iowa. We are a locally owned and operated company that doesn't just build apartments—we build, own, and operate our own multifamily communities throughout Dubuque County and the surrounding area. What You'll Do:
- Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general carpentry work on new multifamily apartment construction.
- Install doors, windows, trim, cabinets, siding, and other finish materials.
- Read blueprints and construction plans.
- Work alongside project managers and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Deliver quality craftsmanship with attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Previous carpentry or construction experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
