Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Vehicle Insurance Agent located in Brea, CA. The Licensed Vehicle Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their auto insurance needs, explain coverage options, and recommend appropriate policies. Daily responsibilities include preparing quotes, processing new policies and renewals, handling policy changes, and ensuring accurate documentation in company systems. The agent will provide responsive customer service by addressing questions, resolving billing or coverage issues, and supporting clients through claims-related inquiries. The role also involves following up on leads, maintaining a sales pipeline, meeting performance targets, and adhering to all regulatory and company compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong insurance-focused skills, including experience in Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, with a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
- Demonstrated Insurance Sales skills, including prospecting, needs-based selling, and closing, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Customer-centric abilities, including clear communication, active listening, and problem resolution in a professional manner.
- Foundational understanding of Finance as it relates to premiums, deductibles, and policy structures, with the ability to explain financial aspects of coverage to clients.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail in all documentation and client interactions.
- Comfort working with agency management software, CRM tools, and basic office applications.
- Fluency in English required; additional language skills (such as Spanish) are highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in auto or personal lines insurance is preferred, as well as familiarity with California insurance regulations.
