We operate a high-volume D2C model with growing subscription programs and emerging B2B SaaS/licensing, plus pharmacy and lab partnerships.Role SummaryWe’re seeking a hands-on Controller to build and run our finance engine: clean GAAP accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, internal controls, and decision-grade forecasting for a high-velocity, tech-enabled healthcare business.What You’ll OwnAccounting & CloseLead the monthly close (target ≤10 business days); own BS, P&L, and Cash Flow.Manage GL integrity, accruals/deferrals, reconciliations (banks, Stripe, partners).Revenue Recognition & Multi-EntityApply ASC 606 across on-demand visits, subscriptions, pharmacy/lab rev-share, and B2B SaaS.Perform multi-entity consolidations (OpCo, management company, property LLCs).Controls, Compliance & Audit ReadinessDesign and maintain internal controls, approval matrix, policies (AP/expense, capitalization, close checklist).Coordinate with external CPA for tax, audits, and compliance; align with HIPAA/SOC2 processes for finance data flows.FP&A, Forecasting & Unit EconomicsBuild rolling 12–36 month forecasts and budget vs. actuals.Model unit economics: async/sync units, pooled subscription units, provider cost per unit, margin by service line.Create CEO-ready dashboards: CAC/ROAS, retention, cohorts, gross margin, cash runway.Systems & ScaleOptimize QBO or lead migration to NetSuite/Intacct when appropriate.Own finance stack: Stripe/Chargebee, Bill.com, Gusto/ADP; implement BI dashboards (Looker/Tableau/Power BI/Databox).Team LeadershipMentor and elevate the current bookkeeper into a Senior Accountant; set SLAs and operating cadence.What You’ve Done (Qualifications)8–12 years progressive accounting/finance experience with time inside operating companies (not only public/tax).Direct experience in telehealth/healthcare services and SaaS/subscription models.Demonstrated ownership of monthly close, ASC 606, multi-entity consolidation, and internal controls.Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (PowerQuery, complex pivots, scenario modeling).Familiarity with HIPAA considerations for finance data and SOC2 alignment.Tools: QBO or NetSuite/Intacct; Stripe/Chargebee; Bill.com; Gusto/ADP; BI dashboards.CPA preferred (or equivalent rigor); HFMA/CHFP a plus.Benefits:401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid holidaysPaid time offParental leave
