Role: Executive Assistant to the CEOLocation: Midtown Manhattan (Hybrid: 3–4 days in-office)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to the CEO who will operate as a trusted partner and strategic operator. This role goes far beyond administrative support — the EA will be responsible for optimizing the CEO’s time, driving execution across priorities, serving as a gatekeeper, and ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders.This individual must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion, autonomy, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Calendar & Time Management• Own and optimize the CEO’s calendar on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis• Prioritize meetings based on strategic importance and ROI• Proactively manage scheduling conflicts, travel days, and buffers for deep work• Reduce context switching and protect the CEO’s timeCommunication & Gatekeeping• Manage and triage the CEO’s inbox and key communications• Draft correspondence on behalf of the CEO when appropriate• Filter noise vs. signal and escalate only what requires CEO input• Coordinate with senior leaders, investors, partners, and external stakeholdersExecution & Follow-Through• Track action items from meetings and ensure timely follow-up• Assign owners and deadlines and hold stakeholders accountable• Maintain a running priority and action tracker for the CEO• Anticipate upcoming needs and proactively prepare materialsMeeting & Information Preparation• Prepare concise briefing materials ahead of meetings (context, objectives, attendees, key points)• Ensure the CEO is fully prepared for internal, external, and high-stakes meetings• Capture notes and next steps as neededCross-Functional Coordination• Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal teams (HR, Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing)• Coordinate priorities and communication across departments• Ensure alignment with CEO-level initiativesTeam Coordination & Supervision• Supervise and coordinate work with junior administrative/support staff• Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure quality and follow-through• Act as the escalation point before issues reach the CEOTravel & Logistics• Manage complex travel arrangements and itineraries• Coordinate in-office schedules, meetings, and external engagements• Plan logistics for meetings, tours, and eventsLinkedIn & Professional Presence (Operational Management)• Manage the CEO’s LinkedIn account operationally, including:• Scheduling and posting approved content• Maintaining a content calendar• Formatting posts and optimizing hashtags/timing• Monitoring DMs and comments and triaging priority messages• Coordinate with marketing/PR on content preparation and amplification• Maintain profile accuracy and brand consistencyNote: This role does not independently create or publish unapproved thought leadership content.Confidentiality & Judgment• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion• Exercise sound judgment on what to resolve independently vs. escalate• Maintain trust with executive leadership, legal, HR, and external partnersQualifications• 4 years of experience supporting a C-level executive (CEO preferred)• Proven ability to operate autonomously with minimal direction• Experience managing executive calendars, communications, and complex logistics• Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion• Prior experience managing or supporting an executive’s LinkedIn or professional presence preferred• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• NYC-based or able to commute to Midtown Manhattan 3–4 days per weekWhat Success Looks Like• The CEO’s time is protected and focused on high-leverage priorities• Meetings are purposeful, prepared, and followed through• Communication flows efficiently without bottlenecks• Junior support staff operate effectively under EA supervision• The CEO’s professional presence is consistent, polished, and well-managed
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
