Duties
- Generate borrower interest by using telemarketing and returning customer engagement
- Conduct client consultations to explain reverse mortgage options, benefits, and eligibility requirements clearly and transparently
- Ensure all marketing efforts comply with Fair Housing regulations, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines, and other relevant loan regulations
- Assist clients through the loan origination process by coordinating with underwriting, mortgage servicing, and loan processing teams
- Utilize Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and financial software to track leads, manage applications, and maintain accurate records
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and industry knowledge of financial regulations to provide compliant guidance
Skills
- Proven experience in sales within financial services or mortgage lending environments. Will consider applicants with stong communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex loan options
- Perform basic math calculations accurately, and understand credit analysis principles
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on relationship building in financial sales contexts
- Proficiency in Microsoft office software, industry-specific financial software, and 10-key typing skills for data entry accuracy
- Strong communication skills for client interactions, contracts explanation, and community outreach efforts
