Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.
Operate forklifts to safely move, store, and load materials, pallets, and containers.
Assist with receiving, storing, and shipping of liquid products; maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform routine forklift maintenance and report issues.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and wear required PPE; report any hazards or incidents immediately.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight to meet customer demands, including dispatching, scheduling, and documentation.
Execute shipment releases, truck loading/unloading, inspections, and creation of certificates of analysis.
Act as main contact for carrier dispatch, providing schedules and load details.
Prepare and maintain shipment documentation, including contracts, invoices, purchase orders, bills of lading, and payment reconciliations.
Manage logistics for Mexico, including invoice modifications and order processing.
Enter and manage product data in the company ERP system; perform weekly inventory and support production planning.
Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and production teams on materials, quotes, and documentation.
Train new hires in warehouse operations and ERP usage.
Plan load structures to ensure weight accuracy and efficient output.
Support other positions as needed, including dock operations, phone coverage, scheduling, and clerical duties.
May be required to work rotating shifts or overtime as necessary.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years of experience, or any equivalent combination of education or experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job

Food industry experience

Compensation Range: $19.00 -$21.00
In addition to a competitive salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: vacation time, sick time, bereavement leave, paid holidays and medical benefits and 401(k) savings plan.
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what we anticipate to pay for this position, based on internal equity and budget.
