Job Description and Duties
This position is located in the city of Oakland.
Multiple vacancies may exist.
As the District Administrator designee, the Supervisor I is authorized to attend and make decisions for the district at meetings and other events with directors and administrators of community organizations and other external stakeholders; discusses results and recommended actions with the District Administrator; prepares written documentation and presentation materials, as needed for the District leadership team; conducts District Administrator level investigations and reporting of alleged dependent adult abuse of DOR consumers; consults with DOR Legal Office for guidance and assistance on personnel and consumer-related matters; collaborates with the District Administrator to develop, implement, and monitor the District Strategic Plan; develops and coordinates with the DOR Diversity Officer to address services to unserved and underserved client populations in the district; acts as district liaison with CORE university programs and other recruitment resources.

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Interested individuals MUST submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) along with the application. The SOQ must address the three questions listed below. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing and should be no longer than two (2) pages in length, single-spaced, 12pt. font.

- Please describe how you have demonstrated good leadership and provide at least one example. Please describe your work experience demonstrating effective communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
