Job Description and Duties
METROPOLITAN STATE HOSPITAL- Located in Norwalk, Los Angeles County
The Department of State Hospitals, MSH, is currently accepting applications for permanent, full-time Respiratory Care Practitioner position in Norwalk.
Under the direction of the Chief Physician and Surgeon. The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) assist in diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders in a manner commensurate with that specified by the Respiratory Care Board of California. Administer diagnostic test to determine the nature and extent of respiratory disorders; set up and administer routine and complex respiratory procedures to patients as prescribed by a physician.
