Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of a Staff Services Manager I and with guidance from a Materials and Stores Supervisor, this position helps with the daily operations of the District 11 Warehouse. The person in this role receives and stores materials, ships items, loads and unloads trucks, fills orders, and delivers supplies. They also help track inventory, manage warehouse space, use property properly, and keep the work area safe. The employee uses web-based systems to order supplies from the redistribution warehouse and to keep inventory records up to date.

While at their base of operations, employee will work in a warehouse environment that is both indoors under artificial lighting and outdoors. Employee may also be required to travel and may be exposed to dirt, noise, uneven surfaces, and/or extreme heat or cold.
