Under the general direction of the Career Executive Assignment (CEA) A in the Public Affairs Division (Division) within the Department of Cannabis Control (Department), the Supervisor II provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Department's Digital Communications Office (DCO) and Community Relations Office (CRO). The incumbent develops and executes a comprehensive, data-informed communications strategy that advances the Department's regulatory mission, ensures timely and transparent public information, strengthens partner relationships, and maintains statutory and policy compliance (e.g., accessibility, privacy, public records, and open government requirements). The position supervises professional staff, manages budgets and vendor contracts, and serves as a senior advisor on outreach and strategic communications.
