Join our team as a Paraprofessional. Under the direction of credentialed teachers and/or case managers, the Paraprofessional provides instructional and program support to TK–12 students in CalOPS’ virtual independent study environment. The role reinforces teacher-directed instruction, supports student engagement in live and asynchronous learning, assists with Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) and intervention services, and maintains the documentation that keeps virtual instruction organized and compliant. All lesson content and learning objectives are set by the credentialed teacher; the Paraprofessional implements and reinforces them across group and 1:1 settings. This position may close early if we find enough qualified candidates. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent, AND one of the following: Two years of college (48 semester units) A.A. degree or higher Bachelor’s degree preferred A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Passed a locally approved assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction (e.g., CBEST or local equivalent)
