Paraprofessional

TLC is an inclusion model public charter school. Paraprofessionals will work with individual students and small groups of students in the classroom and throughout the school day.  Paraprofessionals will assist students under the direction of teachers to reinforce learning and support student participation in class.  We are looking for candidates who are eager to implement strategies anbd practices that support student engagement with peers and with learning content, using a whole child approach to education. Candidates must be open to supporting students of all ability levels and skills, including students with physical and/or cognitive disabilities in an inclusive learning environment.     The following qualities, prior experience, and skills are highly desirable for this position: * experience working with students with disabilities * interest in supporting children's growth, development, and achievement * skills in supporting social interactions and play among students * positive attitude * collaborative  * commitment to growth and continued learning as a professional * belief that all children can learn * fluent in Spanish   Both full time and part time positiions available.     HOW TO APPLY:   Please send a resume and cover letter describing your interest in working at TLC to: jessica.tunney@tlccharter.org
