Job Summary
The STRTP Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff supervision, and compliance of the Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP). This role ensures delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services to youth in care while maintaining adherence to all licensing, accreditation, and contractual standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide leadership and supervision to direct care staff and clinical team members.
· Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL), California Department of Social Services (CDSS), and STRTP regulations.
· Coordinate and monitor the development and implementation of Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs).
· Oversee admissions, transitions, and discharges in collaboration with placing agencies.
· Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with legal and agency standards.
· Lead staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
· Serve as a liaison with county agencies, educational partners, and mental health providers.
· Participate in audits, licensing visits, and accreditation processes.
· Implement trauma-informed care principles and ensure a therapeutic milieu.
· Respond to crises and provide on-call support as needed.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· Experience working with youth with complex trauma and behavioral needs.
· Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check, TB test, and pre-employment physical.
· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must have a CA DOJ/FBI Guardian background clearance, TB test, and pre-employment physical.
· Strong knowledge of STRTP regulations, Title 22, and trauma-informed practices, but training can be provided to meet this requirement.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages).
· Certification in TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) or NCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention), but training can be provided to meet this requirement.
Work Schedule
· Full-time position available, with options available according to need for flexible hours.
Part-time position available, with options available according to need for flexible hours.
On Call position available, with options available according to need for flexible hours.
· Must be available for on-call responsibilities to include weekends/evenings.
