What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at California Heritage Insurance Services?
Overview
Looking for a candidate that is eager to learn everyday. This position requires the individual to be bilingual in Spanish and English. Coming pre licensed is a huge plus, but if you are not already a licensed insurance agent, you must be willing to become licensed and be eligible for licensing (such as passing a background check.) Pay is depending on experience. This is a part time job that will eventually become a full time position (most likely around 1-3 months)
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient customer support via phone, email, and text in multiple languages as needed.
- Handle inbound calls to assist clients with questions, payments, and pre quote information.
- Maintain accurate data entry records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback using the company system for logging notes and files digitally.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately during transactions when applicable.
Skills
- Multilingual proficiency with strong bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and active listening.
- Attention to detail for accurate cash handling, typing speed, and data management.
- Ability to work in stressful situations. Not everyday is stressful but there can be those moments!
License/Certification:
- Personal Lines License (Preferred)
