Clinical Trials Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Assistant to support patient registry and research activities. In this role, you will communicate directly with patients to collect important clinical information for research registries and observational studies. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working with patients while maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients by phone to complete research questionnaires and registry surveys.
• Collect and accurately document:
• Medical history
• Medication history
• Disease history
• Adverse events
• Quality of life information
• Enter patient information into electronic databases and research systems.
• Ensure all collected information is accurate, complete, and confidential.
• Follow study protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and healthcare staff.
• Perform other research-related administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable speaking with patients over the phone.
• Basic computer skills and accurate data entry.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical research, medical office, customer service, or call center settings is preferred but not required.
• Spanish-speaking is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with patient outreach or patient registries.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience documenting patient information in electronic medical records or research databases.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
