Job Description And Duties
Under general direction of the Manager II Staff Services Manager III in the Evaluation & Data Innovation Branch, within the Research, Evaluation and Data Insights (REDI) Division, the incumbent will perform technical tasks related to ongoing central support for Electronic Health Record (EHR) System implementation. The incumbent will collaborate with hospitals and Sacramento staff to develop and maintain enterprise reporting standards and best practices within EHR's new reporting capabilities and will maintain libraries with standards, common data pulls and methodology specifications. The incumbent will support higher-level specialists in data and technology in the design, migration, and deployment process of a DSH Data Lakehouse and will be SMEs in Databricks.
This function requires intermediate to advanced experience in data automation and quantitative methods. This function also requires the incumbent to be conversant in one or more programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL), have substantial training and experience in Tableau and/or Power BI, and have very strong analytical, presentation, meeting facilitation, and writing skills. This function will regularly work in the Databricks environment.
