Under the general supervision of an Accounting Administrator I, the Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor), supervises the staff responsible for professional accounting duties in the establishment and maintenance of accounts and records within the Travel Services Unit.

Working Conditions
This job is located in:
Sacramento
The incumbent is expected to work 40 hours per week in an office setting, air-conditioned, high rise building in a cubicle with temperature control, natural and artificial lighting being in a stationary position for long periods of time. Typical work requires prolonged sitting using computer, telephone, and interaction with co-workers. Travel may occasionally be required for meetings, training, etc. We offer a hybrid work schedule that is consistent with the department’s telework policy.
Special Requirements
A STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ) IS REQUIRED. The SOQ must be in 12 pt. Arial font; have 1" margins; be limited to no more than two (2) single-spaced pages and be in narrative form (no bullet points). Only complete applications that include an SOQ will be reviewed and only the most qualified candidates will be interviewed. Resumes and Cover Letters do not take the place of the Statement of Qualifications. The SOQ must address the following:
An applicant with a college degree obtained outside the United States that does meet accreditation standards must have education records evaluated by a credentials evaluation service. Evaluation of education records will be due during final minimum qualification evaluation of candidate(s).
