Under the general supervision of the Codes and Standards Administrator II, the incumbent conducts code enforcement investigations within the Occupational Licensing Program to determine whether mobilehome manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and salespersons engaged in the sale or lease of new or used manufactured homes, mobilehomes, or commercial modulars in California are in compliance with the Health and Safety Code. This position does not carry peace officer authority and does not involve the performance of peace officer duties.
