What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Support Special Corpsmember - Administration position at California Conservation Corps?
As a Program Support Special Corpsmember on the Administration Pathway, you will engage in CCC Program Activities in an office and associated settings. You will engage with civil service staff, other Corpsmembers, and members of the public who rely upon the CCC’s administrative services to successfully carry out, benefit from, or interact with the CCC program.
This position aims to provide training and experience to help meet the minimum qualifications for administrative classifications such as Office Technician and Management Services Technician. To help you prepare for these positions, you will engage in a number of activities and be offered hands-on and structured training opportunities in a variety of administrative skills.

Effective Office Communication
· Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel
· Organizing, scheduling and coordinating meetings, as well as preparing documents or materials in advance of and following meetings (e.g., agendas and minutes)

Computer Competency
· Preparing and processing of office documents, engaging in data entry and report generation, and creating visual representations that showcase reports and/or support trainings
· Taking online trainings on Microsoft Office suite of programs
· Learn about processes, systems and tools such as C³, CalTravelStore, CalATERS, submitting help tickets to the Information Systems Branch, Tempo Timekeeping, etc.
· Strengthen computer typing speed and accuracy
