The Fiscal Services Division (FSD) is seeking an Accounting Administrator II (Supervisor) in the Financial System & Support Section of the Accounting Branch to join our supportive, collaborative team that values growth, partnership, and innovation. As part of a division that safeguards the California Air Resources Board's (CARB) fiscal integrity, you'll contribute to meaningful work that supports statewide clean-air and climate initiatives. Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator III (Supervisor), the Accounting Administrator II (Supervisor) (AA II) serves as a highly independent and skilled accounting subject matter expert. The AA II (Supervisor) reviews accounting and cross-functional processes and procedures for continual improvements, develops learning content and leads training, and implements new technologies to serve end-users best. The AA II (Supervisor) manages day-to-day operations of the Financial System & Support Section. Ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounting functions, compliance with state reporting requirements. The incumbent collaborates with the Accounting Branch Chief in policy implementation and strategic fiscal oversight, ensuring that the department’s financial operations are effective, efficient, and responsive to the needs of customers and stakeholders.
