Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and assisting in purchasing decisions
• Daily housekeeping - sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc. to ensure a clean environment
• Using a point-of-sale system accurately
• Learning and studying product knowledge to appropriately assist customers
• Helping management process shipments
• Stocking shelves and hooks to keep the store full
• Continuously promoting a positive and professional work environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have a high school diploma
• Cash handling and counting
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Coach-ability and listening skills
• Able to lift 40lb boxes
• Able to stand for at least 6 hours

As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to assist customers effectively.
• Perform retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and discounts.
• Supervise stock levels, assist with inventory management, and restock shelves as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support store operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail calculations.
• Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and retail math concepts is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the shopping experience.
• Must have a high school education or GED.

Sunday - Thursday 9:30 am - 11:30 pm

Friday & Saturday 9:30 am - 12:30 am
