I’m currently working with a well-established engineering firm in North Carolina that is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer, PE who is ready to take on a new challenge and progress into a more senior-level role.
This position offers the opportunity to work on complex geotechnical design and analysis across a diverse range of projects while managing work from inception through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management from proposal stage through final delivery
- Coordination of site investigations and field activities
- Classification and interpretation of laboratory and field data
- Preparation of geotechnical engineering reports
- Design and analysis of:
- Shallow and deep foundations
- Bearing capacity and settlement
- Earth retaining systems and anchors
- Slopes and earthworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or Mining Engineering, or Geology
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Strong technical writing and reporting experience
- Proven ability to design and analyze foundation systems and slopes
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Geology is a plus

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
