By virtue of that, all qualified applicants must be US Citizens.Overview: Our client is seeking a Business Development Capture Manager with proven experience in the DoD and DHS markets. They are seeking an immediate hire with an exceptional attitude and skill set aligned with the duty and experience descriptions below. Ideally, the BD Capture Manager will reside in the National Capital Region.Responsibilities:Develops and maintains customer business relationships in federal government marketsIdentifies, develops, and captures opportunities for business expansionDevelops marketing strategies and provides input into long-range business plansActs as liaison with government agencies and officesLeads the capture process effort for a pre-identified business opportunityAnalyzes the draft RFP/SOW; develops and implements the capture plan; and orchestrates all capture activities during the pre-proposal and proposal phases and post-submittal activitiesDefines capture team resource requirements and costs associated with bid and identifies and trains capture team members to ensure necessary support elements are availableAssesses capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses and assists in the development of capture strategies and marketing approachesInteracts across departments (i.e., Proposals, Human Resources, Finance, Contracts, etc.) to assist in pricing approach and develop overall win strategiesWith the assistance of the Proposal Manager and proposal writers, translates win themes and bid strategies into meaningful proposal contentPrepares and presents recommendations (i.e., go/no-go decision presentations) to senior managementRequirementsSecret Clearance EligibilityBachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an appropriate field and a minimum of eight (8) years' professional experience supporting federal clients; or Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree in an appropriate field and 6 years' experienceMinimum four years of experience building capture plans and successfully winning competitively solicited DoD, DoS, and/or DHS requirements, with significant preference for USAF ACC or AFMC, DoS CA/IRM, CBP, CISA, FEMA, and/or TSA success.Experience engaging with and/or managing multiple subcontractors or other industry partners.Experience driving and supporting RFP response activities, to include themes/shaping, solutioning, outlining and compliance, compelling and technically astute narrative, and pricing alignment.Deep understanding of Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Data Analytics, and/or Enterprise IT requirements and offeringsPreferred experience includes:History of winning opportunities of $15,000,000 or largerExperience with updating, maintaining and managing opportunity pipelinesManagement consulting experienceBenefitsCompetitive salary and bonusesEmployer paid insurances 401K / MatchGenerous PTO policyTraining and education benefitsReferral bonus program
